The Cereal Box Project Part 2---Assigned Monday, April 11th

  • Based on the Cereal Name and Design you chose, you are going to create a commercial for your product
  • Write a script that will use at least 3 of the techniques from your notes (there are 10 and you have 1 because of your character).
  • Scripts are to be TYPED in 12pt, Times New Roman font
  • Use ALL CAPS
  • Make sure to explain what is said, who is in it and what will be happening--though this is radio not TV so no one can SEE you, you have to paint the picture for those who are hearing it.
  • Using Google to find a stopwatch and time it
  • Commercials must be 30 seconds when read
  • Email your completed script by the end of class
    • Points will be deducted for scripts that are not sent on Monday
    • Do not waste time on this
    • You will have time on Tuesday in class to finish your designs and to turn things in

The Cereal Box Project PART 1--Assigned Thursday, April 7th


You are going to create a new cereal (or snack food--See Mrs. Ferris about this though the requirements are the same). You will be using the techniques we have discussed in class so you will need your notes!

    • First thing you need to do is pick a CUTE CELEBRITY for your box character (you can create a completely new one too but see Mrs. Ferris for this)
    • Go to Google and type in your CUTE CELEBRITY plus coloring page
    • Color your CUTE CELBRITY. This will be the beginning of your Cereal Design
